The McGesund platform itself has existed since 2006 and was cited as a source by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in 2008.

With the help of on-site QR codes, geolocation during submission and cryptographic signatures, it is ensured that reviews on McGesund come exclusively from real customers, patients or users of your products and services. Each key is additionally anchored in the Bitcoin blockchain — even in a future where classic encryption can be broken by quantum computers.

McGesund signals are the inbound channel of our nursing care module for home and provider structures. Residents and relatives scan a QR code on site and submit a structured signal in seconds — complaint, praise or an incident relevant to the quality inspection. The entries appear in real time in the internal task dashboard of the shift, are access-differentiated by care roles (home management, nursing management, care staff) and can be exported as a PDF report for inspection and supervisory authorities.

Yes. McGesund is hosted sovereignly in German data centres — no data transfer to third countries. The platform is set up in a GDPR-compliant way; sensitive review and signal data is additionally signed cryptographically and anchored in the Bitcoin blockchain via OpenTimestamps. External auditors can therefore trace the audit chain without having to trust McGesund.
